I wanted to write something about this horrendous tragedy, but I hesitated because there is little I can say that doesn't sound like a trite cliche. You can be witty or wise in ordinary circumstances or even when you yourself are facing danger. But when 30 children have their lives cut off, not even for any great cause but because of random cruelty -- what can anyone say?
