Odd Russian Taboos

So apparently, doing aerobics in a funeral home showroom is looked down upon in Russia for some reason. Thank goodness for our precious american freedoms. Over there, it got this lady fired -- and expelled from President Putin's 'United Russia' party.

Romeo and Juliet

So I'm a Programmer who works for a ballet. One of the great things about this is that while your Lean Cuisine heats in the microwave you can walk over to the next room and watch dancers practice their swordplay. Which I just did.

The Conglomeration, Texas Ballet (= Houston Ballet, if you never figured that out) is putting on a sparkling new production of Romeo and Juliet at the end of this month and it's just so cool to watch bits and pieces of it come together. Whenever I do I find at the end of it that I've got a big smile on my face.
