Lost and Found Chances

One of the greatest lost chances of all time was when the Beatles refused Lorne Michael's offer of $3000 cash on the barrel-head to reunite on Saturday Night Live. It's not like they needed the money, but they didn't take the offer and just a year or two later John Lennon was cut down outside his New York apartment. Suddenly the idea of a Beatles reunion vanished forever.

The remaining Beatles have gotten together a few times, but of course George Harrison passed on several years ago.

Now it's possible that the last 2 may perform at the David Lynch Foundation in New York April 4th.

On a related note, you can now get your MA in the Beatles at Liverpool University.
