Worm Moon & Friends

Are you ready? It's "Worm Moon" tonight according to the space weatherman. Worm Moon, otherwise known as Crow Moon and Lenten Moon, is what folks a few generations ago considered to be the last Full Moon of Winter. Worms start digging around in the thawing soil and crows get to eat them again (and, of course, it's Lent right now).

While you're out looking at the Worm Moon you might as well psych yourself up for chunks of those 2 satellites that crashed into each other last month to begin plunging to Earth. NORAD says the first bit should fall out of the sky on the 12th. You can see a cool map on the paths they'll all take here.
