Cat Philanthropy

Going to the rescue of defenseless humans is something one normally associates with dogs, wolves, and dolphins. But after reading that a pack of wild Argentinian cats has been caring for a 1 year old homeless boy, I'll never look at our cat Scabby the same way again (despite the fact that the only thing she usually cares for is a bowl of Little Friskies).

Now that they're world famous I hope the authorities will help this boy and his father get off the streets. And give a plate of tuna to the altruistic felines.

Meanwhile, in southern China, we're apparently not returning the favor to cats.
