Auguring 2009

Frankly, this has been a mindboggling year economically, with all sorts of things true at the end that were inconceivable at the beginning. Just the ride gas prices went on was incredibly wild.

So what do the signs portend for the new year? Any predictions will probably turn out as far off the mark as those made one year ago. But according to Saxo Bank 2009 will see flat growth in China, $25 barrels of oil, and riots in Iran.

See their compete list of predictions here.

Meanwhile, offering a ray of hope, psychic Christopher Reburn says don't worry: things will be better by the end of summer.
