Stayed up till 1:30 last night watching old Sherlock Holmes movies (like Study in Scarlet, 1933, and Silver Blaze, 1937), then stumbled off to bed and fell promptly to sleep. Woke at 8:15.
Felt like being a hermit today. I came out with the family some of the time, but probably spent just as much in our room reading First Man and alternately editing and reading Wikipedia. Public life (i.e., work for the most part) is always a drain on me; absorbing private life recharges me. I'm looking forward to doing more of it tomorrow.
